Mission Statement

IPCA is the voice of the industry promoting the highest level of integrity and professionalism in order to protect the health and property of the community. IPCA will represent, train, and continually educate its members to further the association’s ideals.

 

 

 

 

Legislative News

Structural Pest Control Act Passes Senate

On a vote of 57-0, the Illinois State Senate passed HB 4407, the reinstatement of the Structural Pest Control Act.  The bill will now be sent to the Governor for his signature.  The paperwork in that process is allowed take up to 90 days, but we have sent letters to the Speaker of the House and the Governor’s office requesting their expeditious attention to this important bill.

Regulatory Advocacy -

IPCA works closely with state agencies to monitor activities and provide members with up-to-date information.

  • Keeps you informed on proposed regulatory changes and their implications.

  • Serves as a collective "voice" on critical legislative issues.

  • Representation on the IDPH Pest Control Advisory Council.

Legislative Advocacy

  • IPCA reviews and monitors bills introduced into legislation for it's potential impact on Illinois pest control companies. Any bills requiring action are quickly brought to the attention of the IPCA Board of Directors in order to determine a position on each respective issue and then lobby accordingly.

IPCA's educational offerings provide you with numerous opportunities to:

  • Meet and consult with leading experts on industry issues.

  • Network with other PCOs and suppliers to problem solve and exchange ideas and experiences.

  • Expose yourself to the latest industry information and technology.

  • Keep informed on important legislative initiatives affecting your business.
    Programs are presented at various locations and dates throughout the state for technical training and recertification credits.

  • Spring and Fall Conventions-Convention/exhibition providing professional, educational and social experiences.

  • Recertification Seminars-One-day technical programs meeting IDPH requirements.

  • Certification Test Review Classes-Full-day review classes prior to test date in conjunction with Spring and Fall Conferences.

Quarterly Newsletter

  • The IPCAdvisory is a publication of the Illinois Pest Control Association. One complimentary copy is sent to each I.P.C.A. member four times a year. It includes feature articles of interest pertinent to the industry, the latest information on government regulations as well as dates for upcoming seminars. Advertising information. Our newsletter advertisers.

  • Expert advice on inspection reporting, pest applications, state mandated information, reporting requirements, CE requirements, DOT and OSHA requirements and MORE!
